Blood is thicker than water... that is a given. What happens when you have to choose which blood is thicker???

My father was 39 when he had his first stroke. He had innumerable issues after that ultimately leading to us losing him several years ago. My fathers illness was a huge financial strain on all of us. My sisters and I have rotated paying bills for years. I did most of it when they were younger and as each of them got older, they helped more. My Grandmother (my dad's mom) has always been a helping hand. Sometimes you would have to listen to a severe dose of berating but in the end she always came through.

My grandmother helped my parents out by fronting their purchase of the most recent house they lived in (16 yrs there now). Their financial issues were to great to get a loan so she applied but they paid. After 14 yrs of paying, 2 yrs after my fathers death, my mother stopped having the means to keep up with the mortgage. She still gave them what she could but it usually wasn't enough.

My grandparents legally own the house and have decided that it needs to be sold. Now I agree that my mom needs to move but my grandparents are planning to sell and as it stands right now, they are not sharing the proceeds with my mother. They are doing so to bail out my uncle.

Sisters of the world UNITE!!!
Yeah that was my youngest sister when she heard what was going on. She is proposing a freeze on talking to my grandmother and not lettering her see the great grand kids in solidarity to my mom. Even though I love my grandmother to death I have to side with my sisters and my mom.

On top of this, my mom has to go for surgery to remove some growths early next month. Oh yeah, in my family when it rains it pours.

Now, you would think that this is enough to keep me busy and stewing but no. That may be the entree but I have a table full of appetizers to deal with too.

The Buffet:

Camp job, hubby job, hubby possibly swallowing other companies installs and making more work for me, having a work husband that personifies all of real life hubby's worst traits and kids, house, diet and  meds.

I am betting I forgot stuff but lets just save that for dessert.
